If the fight takes place outside of the Matrix, well the Tick is superhuman, so he wins.
If the fight takes place within the Matrix, then consider this. When Morpheus initially bested Neo in Kung Fu, it was like Morpheus said. It wasn't because he was stronger or faster, it was all mental. Neo had to let go of his mental hang-ups of what is and is not possible. For any rational person, this is a difficult or impossible thing to do. This is why the agents always won against everyone else but Neo. However, Neo is still human and still has certain hang-ups about what is and is not possible.
The Tick, on the other hand, is an idiot. And quite ignorant. Therefore, inside the Matrix, he would have no such hang-ups as Neo and could get on with kicking booty, blissfully free of any baggage of knowing the odds against him, therefore rendering those odds insignificant. |
