I think I had a good day at work today. by Glytch78 2005-05-17 17:58:50
I showed up at 1045. At 1100 I started maked crepes. A little back story first. Once a month a corp-rat chef comes over and we all cook up a big kick butt dinner for the old people. It's a pretty cool thing and everytime that I've been there for this the meal was awesome.

Today's dessert was Ricotta cheese mixed with some strawberry yogurt inside of a folded crepe covered with some pretty tasty berrys from sweden (that I can't remember the name of right now) and a big piping of whip cream.

It's a fairly easy thing to make. Now do it 200 times. All I did from 11 am to 3:30pm was make crepes. I can flip with the best of them now. On the bright side I couldn't leave. Any time someone came to me to ask for me help with anything I could tell them (honestly this time) that I'm stuck and can't leave the stove.

The rest of the meal was B-B-Q salmon. These slabs of salmon were HUGE! Can only fit 2 on a full size sheet tray. Pretty big. The salmon was topped with a yogurt and dill sauce. Golden potatos with butter and parsly. Crinkle cut carrots with butter and dill. Also crepes for dessert.

Thanks for reading. I needed that.
