unemployment insurance is to my understanding money paid to individuals that have worked and paid tax money in that is returned in an increment if the individual loses their work...
welfare to my understanding is a government service to ppl that can't work, food stamps, housing, various other services.
I've seen the welfare system abused by many, I can't say it's a bad thing, it's something our nation needs, but they need to keep better tabs on who they're paying and why that person can't make their own.. |
