1. Will be countered by claiming that evolutionists have no proof that the universe is ancient or big, because all these cosmological (and especially, on earth, archaeological/palaeontological) dating and measuring techniques are really just wild guesses based on the biased scientists wanting to believe that it's old. And that the probability is a one with so incredibly many zeroes that it's still really really unlikely if the universe is that big.
2. and 3. Dunno - may not agree with the definition, but probably not too controversial a point.
4. and 5. Reference to thermodynamics (entropy) or information theory, information and complexity can't be created from nowhere without the influence of an intelligent entity, blah blah waffle.
Finally, you'll probably be accused of mincing words and twisting facts in your fancy scientific jargon to come to the conclusion that you'd determined you wanted to reach ahead of time, whereas one just needs to take a look at life and see its beauty and common sense will tell you that it was created by an almighty loving God.
Not all of these arguments will be used at the same time by the same creationist poster, but you'll probably encounter most of them in some form or other... *sigh* |
