I'd have to flip through a reference book to be absolutely certain of whether or not the MG34 was deployed with a single soldier. It's a bipod-mount with a drum, so I'm thinking it didn't require a two-man team unlike the rapacious MG42.
The BAR is a good weapon to use on offense or defense, and it can be deploy in a lot of places you that a 30 cannot. The .30 is a great choice for flag defense in the game as long as there's a rifleman or SMGer providing security, but it's not as versatile as the BAR. |
