It's kind of like watching a friend flirt with death time and again, and then wind up dying because "the gun wasn't loaded."
I don't bear you any malice for pointing me to the decision, NOLA. Being who you are, it was the most honest way you could have told me -- and I couldn't ask you to countenance anything less honest. (Mental note to self: the next time I ask a witch to "break it to me gently", remember their devotion to the truth <g>)
I can't really blame DR for what happened, either -- with his background, that remark was only going to flick him on a raw spot. And 'Ruki had just pushed things to the point that anyone hollering foul was going to get hir tossed.
But to watch the board be that torn apart...
