Hello folks, i'm trying to struggle down some issues with ipmi at work... on a red had enterprise server the thing is that i try to read out the ipmi 2.0 card from supermicro and i don't get the damn thing to spit me out the values i need. Anyone can recommend me something? i tried the actual ipmitool 1.8.1 from the website (ipmitool.sf.net) but it still doesn't work. Next step would be to recompile and patch the kernel, but i'm somewhat against it yet. Thanks in advance.
