deserve for those deaths, which, indeed, might have occurred anyway - more people died before the article than after, and violent riots may have occurred in Afghanistan that day regardless of what Newsweek published. They would have borne the entire blame if there had been no violence prior, if the allegations hadn't been known before, and if they turn out to be false rather than just "not in the document I thought they were in". As it is, I do accuse them of fanning the flames, as I said, I'm just not as sure as others at this point that they can be said to have blood on their hands. If the allegations do prove to be true, it's hard to see how they deserve any blame.
