goes both ways:-( And the real problem may be that there is no perceived need for that understanding. But what is really needed is someone from the front lines learning what IT can do, and pushing for that. Or someone from IT really understanding what the front line has to do. Basically, an expert in both areas. It's hard enough to be an expert in one field, let alone two.
