I've been trying for years to get us satellite offices around the campus where (when we aren't fixing a system) we can be found for the majority of the business day. Unfortunately we lack the manpower (4 techs for 3,000 faculty and staff as well as 17,000 students) the budget, and the initiative from the powers that be to make such a move.
