I just disagree - on the sniping issue, at least. It's sniping now, just like it was in the past, and sniping definitely makes the board a worse place. On the other matter, if disablement affects the account only, a 24 hour disablement just means "use another name until tomorrow". I really think this is a major change in stance that drastically nullifies the punitive effect of disablement. Wasn't the OzanBABA account disabled because and only because it was used to post after TheRaven had been disabled? Changing it from person-based to account-based strikes me as a dangerous proposition.
