I thought Houston was OK in the early '90's when I interviewed there for a job - mostly because I was treated as a demigod in the local music scene because I had played at the Stone Pony and had been to NYC. (I was there for 4 days, and had 3 offers to join bands). I didn't even try to look for a bagel in Houston. |
