I see that not as a general insult towards christians in general, but rather as something supposed to be put in contrast with the debacle aboutIntelligent Design, where some people think that science textbooks should have warning stickers about the theory of evolution being "just a theory".
Being a thoroughly secular person, science books are as close as I get to "holy books". It's simply a matter of seeing the flip side of an issue.
