Posting only because I'm a member of such a community, but there are cases where thats not such a bad thing. Its the people that make the community, and I don't think its such a bad thing to keep in touch with good people you have met, even if the original meeting place no longer welcomes you.
In my case virtually the entire posting community was sort of mostly in a strange way made to leave by the operator, who apparently had quietly hated us for years, so most of us formed up again elsewhere.
However, from what I read of the community from the link, the gathering there has little to do with good people... |
