grumble grumble, I is *not* a DBA...as is evident when I've now spent MUCH too much time installing Oracle 9i. Finally got it installed, and up, and go to install the patchset, which my DBA installed with no problem 3 months ago on a different box, and what do I get?
"An internal error has occurred, please forward these log files to Oracle support".
But, Metalink is down, so I couldn't forward the log files even if we *had* Oracle support (which we don't right now, but we will again someday)
