a straffing run by one of these babies. . . We were on a joint exercise here in Alberta with the US military (Wainwright) and I was doing my stuff on the field, administering to the wounded, and one of these A-10 ran a straffing run over head. You don't hear them until they are right on top of you then the whole world shakes as they accelerate up and away. Nearly carpped myself. I looked up and was staring into those twin engines.
