Newsweek gets blood on it's hands in an effort by DesertRat662006-11-19 12:55:59

public-relations coup.

Now there is further 'proof' that muslims are unstable, criminal dangerously fanatic people who lean towards rioting and terrorism when given even the flimsiest reason to do so.

The govt has in the past done this same thing with other races, here in the US.

While the reaction was unreasonable, the pictures of the rioting and flag-burning do nothing to advance the muslim cause or message. Many muslims proclaim that theirs is a religion of peace, yet the film footage would seem to belie that.

Personally, I think everyone is going overboard about this.

If some muslims were to burn, shred, and flush pages from a Bible, would we have riots and demonstrations? No.

Because Americans are less religious? Not really. More rational? I dunno. It appears that way, doesn't it?

We might sue the guys, but riots?

The govt is profiting from this entire event - it makes the muslims look bad, and it makes the media look bad. The govt is the only one that comes out on top. All they have to do is charge a few soldiers with some heinous crime, pretend to punish them, and all will be right with them.
