I've been having some problems with the Microsoft (there's the problem right there..) IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0 that came with my reccent laptop--there is a ~1/2 second delay between doing something with the center scroll wheel and the computer recognizing that there is a scroll wheel (i.e. click on it to zoom in in Halo:CE and it waits a little while to zoom, or start spinning the scroll wheel to get to the bottom of a page, and I'm simply 'revving' it for a half second or so). It doesn't seem to matter whether it's connected via the PS2 port or USB and it seems to work fine in all other regards (points, clicks, buttons 4 and 5 work fine). Any suggestions--settings, drivers, etc?
