Ok, I know that is rather specific and I might be the only one, but I thought this should be publicized. I am planning on bringing a box full of junk to them instead of throwing it out.
the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County, qotdsubmit at this domain>www.swancc.org, will conducting a computer and eletronics recycling event on on Saturday, May 21, 2005, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Winnetka’s Public Works Yard (1390 Willow Road) at no cost. Only residentially-generated equipment will be accepted. Proof of residency will be required. More details and directions at their website.
