well it's a nice 'feature' of win2k that they can hide the access from being viewed by people don't having the access rights. But as you are the admin, you can in the advanced tab take over ownership of the directories iirc, but i'm not sure if that damn advanced tab was not only visible on the security tab. Though i'd have my eyes open for viri or worms too. (reboot didn't help, did it?)
