Fred Phelps is definately an extreme case but he illustrates how nutjobs can give a group a bad name. Thankfully, he truly is in the minority. This is from The Independent Weekly (maybe FYOSS, maybe not) Reporter: I'm sure a number of readers are asking themselves, "Well, is this person drawing people to Christ or is he repelling people from him, pushing people away?" Fred: I'm repelling them. I tell you plainly, I'm repelling them.
