To the maggots who broke into my truck. by williamashbless 2005-05-16 10:37:50
Nice job.

If you hadn't broken into several of the other vehicles (admittedly some of them reasonably flashy) in the condo parkade, I probably wouldn't have noticed the precision drilling and/or prying just under my passenger doorhandle until I picked up a friend who would have been amusingly unable to get into the vehicle.

I also probably wouldn't have noticed the cd caddy in the center island missing until I went to toss a few coins in there leftover from my mad breakfast dash through McDonalds, and seeing as I'm trying to cut down on that, it might have been a few days.

I do have a minor request next time, oh, around next March or April when I statistically expect the next breakin in what is evidently the break-in capital of Canada.

Next time, could you do a more professional job of rifling my stuff?

I mean, really. Last time you broken in, about a year ago, you completely missed the change altogether. This kind of lack of attention to detail is just sloppy. I might have learned a lesson then and stopped leaving change there.... but then that wouldn't have stopped you this time around, I suppose. But you failed to take the rather nice car jack, and you left the radio completely untouched. I mean really, where's the professionalism?

And you left the truck in rather a mess. After the meticulous way you broke in without leaving so much as a scratch except where you were working, I would at least expect that you could pilfer the change drawer and rummage through my insurance papers without tossing them everywhere. My cab isn't exactly crammed full of odds and ends at all times -- it would have taken you no more time, and I would have had a modicum of respect for the _quality_ of effort you put into your work. As it is, you really leave yourself open to interpretation as someone who just can't get the job done. You started out well, but the process sort of got sloppy nearing project completion, didn't it?

Honestly. Get an education. Even a game of Grand Theft Auto would be a good first-year tutorial.

Yours truly,

Your new nemesis.

P.S. Why'd you take my grocery receipts in the sliding ashtray?
