Spotting Picture of the Day Type Thing

Last friday we looked at a Mosin-Nagant M38 Carbine. The Mosin-Nagant action is very distinctive in design. Spotting characteristics include the large (many would say clumsy) bolt, the trademark knurled round cocking piece / safety, the tapered single-stack box magazine, and the sling slots. Mosin-Nagants are chambered for the Russian 7.62x54 rimmed cartridge, but are usually not prone to rimjamming because of a unique cartridge interruptor system.

Today we'll look at a gun that will probably be a little more familiar to most of us. As always, 1000 points if you can correctly identify it. DR66 has elected to take a 1 hour handicap, so have at!
