Top 100 Greatest Americans by Kickstart2006-11-19 12:55:59
Was Einstien American? by AndyA2005-05-16 09:31:51
Einstein had dual citizenship by run.dll 2005-05-16 09:43:37
Einstein became a citizen of the United States in 1940 but also retained his Swiss citizenship. In any case, his main contributions to physics were done during the 1905-1915 era, so I would say the Swiss have a greater claim on his greatness, if that matters. I think Albert would have liked to be remembered as a citizen of the world.
