they are actually going against some of it's tennants. Much of what Christ was saying is to lead people to god, not force them to it. That is exactly why Jesus was crucified, becaue he did not bleieve as the main stream did and was viewed as a threat to some people power. (greatly condensed and shortened so excuse things I left out ;)) Living in Texas and near Baylor (VERY baptist college!) for a number of years, I can't count the number of times a wandering Baptist bible thumper tried to "save me." This is even after I told them my mother is a Methodist minister.....sigh. If people would actually BE christian and not act christian the world would be a better place. They would also realize it is not about winning and loseing it is showing people how you believe and letting them make up their own minds.
