  Hmm... spot the error by BrainBug 2005-05-16 09:34:09
Time: 4:10
Degrees between hands: deg=(4+10/60)*(360/12)-360*10/60=65

Number of coins: c
Number of nickels/quarters/dimes/pennies: n,q,d,p
Age of mother: a

1. (a+3)*6=25*q+10*d+5*n+p
2. 2*q=n
3. 7*p=d
4. 5*p=q
5. c=n+q+d+p
6. deg=3*c-q+1=65

7. 2.-5. => c=23*p
8. 4.,6.,7. => 65=3*23*p-5*p+1 => 64*p=64 => p=1
9. 1.-4.,8. => (a+3)*6 = 125+70+50+1 = 246 => a = 41-3

Of course, everybody will have been finished looong before me, because it took me ages to figure out the value of those stupid coins :P
