I think I remember the game you're talking about. Can't think of the name but it was also an arcade game (about 1984). If it's the same one you kinda poached little pieces of the monsters domain by drawing liitle blocks until you could join up lots of small pieces and color in a big block. You had to get about 80% of the screen to win. If you stopped moving your "ship" for too long a fuse would light and burn towards your ship and blow you up. Aaaargh ! Why did you remind me of that game ? Now I'm gonna have to look for it.
