Honestly, I look at the male symbol, and I see, the male symbol.
Years ago, I wouldn't have known it from the female symbol.
In fact, you could have thrown a corporate logo in its place, and I still wouldn't have known the difference.
Perhaps it's just me, but it just looks like another logo to me. I'm glad that you've found deeper meaning in it, but it still just looks like a logo to me.
I think that to most people, it's just another logo. Honestly, if it were Prince's thing, it would bear about as much meaning to me, but I'm happy that it bears more meaning to you and your community.
That said, you can attach meaning to anything. Thousands of Christian's gather around Roman torture devices every Sunday. Why is this? It is because of what happened on one of them, not because it is particularly attractive, or meaningful aside from that one event. |
