The intersexual symbol signifies the trans and intersexual communities, the people in them, and their common struggle, amongst other things. It challenges the concept of heteronormativity, and seeks to break down the dividers in gender.
In contrast, Prince's symbol was just that-Prince's symbol. One person-not the community, not the movement, not the people. |
