I've been a Palm loyalist since the IIIxe, and I have a Vx somewhere in my junk drawer. What version of Palm OS is it running? If it's not 4, there's an upgrade available to flash it (I'll have to check my CD collection if you want the part #).
Worst case, copy the "current user name" folder out of the Palm folder (either on the root directory or in Program Files), hard reset the Vx, HotSync it, then copy back all the .prc files from the original user name folder to the new HotSync ID folder in the Palm folder and HotSync again. That should restore all the programs to it. |
