Granted, it took months for him to get it to work that way (such that things weren't screwed up by WindowBlinds), but at least 99% of everything runs on his computer without any problems.
Okay, so it takes months to get most things to work with WindowBlinds, but FF works on most standard configurations (and at least some non-standard ones, given that I run a different shell) without any hiccups.

Given those two statements, doesn't it seem more likely that there's another problem with WindowBlinds that your friend hasn't figured out how to work around yet, rather than a major FF problem nobody else is seeing?
