Hmm.. mebbe I should move my computer off the batteryless UPS (a APC) and onto the powerstrip (can't afford a new battery, blasted expensive buggers)
It is running on the "surge protected" plugs on the UPS, but well, call me paranoid but I don't entirely trust those things when the UPS lacks a battery. (ok, your paranoid did you really have to do that?yes, yes I did) Of course it was only fairly recently that the powerstrip (also an APC, complete with lifetime warrantee) had the spare plugs for my computer
