Choosing Hard Drives by dennismv 2005-05-11 21:00:36
Shall I get ... two 320Gb HDDs or two 250Gb HDDs ?

The more the better they say, but in the first case I'll have 640Gb, which is .. pretty good, but in the second case I'll get 500Gb, a nice round number. 640Gb is also a "nice round number", but it's not as "round" as 500 technically speaking. But then 640 is significant in a way as once computers had 640k RAM and it was enough (tm). 500 then is significant in a way that it's half of a thousand. I'm thinking of going with WD (Western Digital) btw. Hum... hummm.. any thoughts ?
