Virus software help by lookn4change2005-05-11 17:34:42
just started using by miathet 2005-05-11 17:59:25
F-Prot because it supports every BSD, Linux, and windows I'll ever want and you get 5 computers for the price of one on Norton and McAfee. Its been good for 5 months no complaints. Also in Icelandic tradition is the least annoying anti-virus I've used recently.

Norton just realeased 2005 and dropped a very expensive bill on their 2003 customers by dropping all updates and a painful update.

AVG seems to be the popular on the board but I know very little about it.

Mcaffe, what is currently on my laptop (came with it) is annoying (can't allow one time access at least not in a way I have found and can't say aplication must always request permission) and will not be renewed at the end of the year. I'll be switching to SyGate firewall and F-Prot.
