ok then ... I used to soap up my rat all ove, avoiding the eyes and then giving it a good wash .... ... But if I'd be doing it again now I'd either let them be without bathing, or be more gentle if I do wash them. Rats smell a bit funny after being washed anyway. It's a clean but wet rat fur smell I guess.
