Back to UserFriendly Strip Comments Index

Request for comments (web page design) by nix2006-11-19 12:55:59
Hm.. Can't css do that? by Michiel2005-05-11 15:20:43
I agree that it should, but it doesn't. by nix 2006-11-19 12:55:59
gthumb can already generate thumbnail indexes to my satisfaction (example)

At the moment, the page doesn't easily take other stylesheets, but I'm going to make a few changes to that end. What I want to do is center the comments and properties vertically, and separate them from the navigation blocks. Unfortunately, HTML/CSS doesn't have any way to center blocks vertically within a container (and again, it should), so I'll have to use a script to do that. Unfortunately, I haven't yet come up with a way to code that so that it'll degrade nicely in browsers with JavaScript disabled.

What do you mean by "visible divs"? I'm pretty new to this whole web desgin thing. Most of my web pages look something like this.
