Potter Information Requested... by LthrOttr 2005-05-11 12:57:27
I need to commision some work for a church from a potter. A set of Eucharistic vessels. I would prefer a potter who feels a spiritual connection with their work (*NOT* necessarily a Christian connection, because I recognize the divine works in many people of diverse paths... I am looking for an artisan who puts themselves and the spirit into their work). I'm looking for an artisan in either the US or Canada. If any of you UFies have an artisan's you could pass me contact information for, I would appreciate it. My nick at gmail will get to me.

Again, I would emphasize I'm not necessarily looking for a Christian potter but a spiritual potter. I have no problems with the potter placing the essence of the encounter with Goddess into the vessels to be used, for example. But, I would prefer someone with a spiritual connection to their artistic work in this medium.

The commision would be 3 chalices, 3 patens(plates), and two cruets.
