Not necessarily in the solutions he advocates (although those have grains of truth in them), but in the problems he diagnoses.
Interesting fact: I'd never realised it, but I tend to spare the Democratic party way too much. Why? Because I'm used to thinking of the US as a two-party system. This means that if I hate the Republicans with a passion, I therefore support the Democrats, just to keep the Republicans out; I also don't criticise them as much as I should, for fear of weakening them and thereby strengthening the Republicans.
Thanks to Fred, and thank's to Bitflipper's post yesterday, I now realise that's about the most stupid thing I can do; I'll henceforth vent my ire on both parties purely on basis of merit, not on basis of "tactical voting" etc.
On a final note: the first-past-the-post system, and the resulting two-party system, are horrible; the worst thing is, they're self-sustaining, since the only parties in power are the ones that benifit from the system.
