dual proc, dual core, or single by dennismv 2005-05-09 21:58:01
I can't seem to locate a good source that compares dual (single core) processors to one dual core processor.
And thus I'm debating ... what to get.

I currently have a dual processor AMD MP 1600+, which generates audible noise, and I swore that my next machine will have just one processor. But now I'm don't think I'll mind, as I believe there now exist quiet heat sinks and fans. Also now I think I'll be getting Intel, dude !
