On a new barbecue. The meat had been removed and the vegies were getting just a little browner; but the cover made the fat-tray get a little too hot and it flashed over when she raised the lid. The flamage was reasonably spectacular - 14" flames. Very fortunately we could let it burn out without damaging anything. Her dad was impressed the barbecue could get so hot... Okay, yes, she was fairly upset about it. I'm hoping it will only be a few months before she's laughing about it.
