Did anything happen about a teamspeak server?

These days we have a fairly large number of players with good basic skills but let's face it the teamwork sucks.
Every now and then a group manage to work together for a short time and are virtually unstopable but it's mainly just luck when this happens.

Some of this is due to people not being used to the game e.g. picking a class without looking at what the team has / needs or not knowing what needs to be done on a certain map.
However tactics and working as a team needs comunication and typing while under fire is a non-starter.

I am working on the sweeping assumption that people actually want to play better as a team rather then constantly snipe at each other on fuel dump or artillary/air strike each other on battery.
