I've never done LHR to LAX but to SFO on 3 different airlines it's always been a -400. Good luck on the exit row, you'll have to be very lucky on that. I'm in Palo Alto, about 20-25 miles south from SF. Assuming I don't have to go down to the factory in Mexico that week (That trip has been on and off for 3 weeks now, untill lunchtime last friday I was supposed to be there now) I should be free. I'll also be back in the UK around the middle of next month for a friends 30th birthday.
