"War on America declared by the Christian Right" by Illiad 2006-11-19 12:55:59
This was on a sticky label on the cover of this month's Harper's Magazine. I didn't have my wallet with me so I couldn't buy a copy, but a quick browse of the article does indeed reveal something about how the hard Christian Right has been gloating and marshalling itself in recent years, with an intent to "free America from the godless."

The hard Christian Right just loves to meddle, doesn't it.

From the issue TOC:

Soldiers of Christ
I. Inside America's most powerful megachurch
Jeff Sharlet
II. Feeling the hate with the National Religious Broadcasters
Chris Hedges
