but it seems to think it's an ICS client.
According to the MS help stuff it can't become an ICS host as it's only got one network connection - no modem, only one netcard.

Apparently he installed Norton Firewall at some point, and it's added a few odd things to the Network Connections windows.
He's uninstalled it since, but it's left a legacy.

Must be something to do with that - I suppose it would kind of make sense for something as shonky as Norton Utils to force every connection on the network to go through itself.

(And the router just lost connection and come back up. Somebody is piddling with the local exchange...)
