First you need to pay us $75 to take the "possible pet owner test", where we check to make sure you're able to handle taking care of a living creature in your home. This must be renewed every five years. Then comes the water check payment of $30 bi-annually, plus the $50 call out fee. Next is the one off tank-tax of $7, all though the tank needs to be checked every other year, costing $17, but fortunatly for an extra $5 you can include the call out fee with the water check.

In New Jersey there's an Aquatic Creatures permit, a one off payment of $78, renewable every 4 years.

Then there's the Eric-name tax, compounding another 2% quarterly.

Hope this helps :-)
