distinguishing characteristic of the feminine gender. Admittedly, your two people-watching subjects were doing their best to uphold a stereotype, but I've seen men behave in a very similar manner -- trashing a colleague's suit, car, s.o., etc. The part that stuns me is that the men and women I've observed playing at being Homo felis all tend to be well-dressed, successful business-people. Those of a bluer hue to their collars tend to trade insults openly in a friendly, joshing manner, and seem to take it all in stride, too.
