And don't put all the blame on Microsoft - most of it is the users fault. Windows -can- be secure, but is not secure by default. Get him to upgrade to XP SP2, which -is- (almost) secure by default. Tell the idiot to turn on Automatic Updates, and get a better virus scanner (one that updates when new virus definitions are available, not when it feels like it). And why is his homepage about:blank? No spyware changes it to that.
