They're working on patches for them, expect Firefox 1.0.4 soon. No piece of software is perfect; the press like to exaggerate Firefox security holes; the Mozilla Foundation try to get every known hole patched as soon as possible. Reading Planet Mozilla is a good way to get an idea of how the fixes are coming along.
