| So voxSpouse has filed to emancipate youngest son (now over 19 and working fulltime) and FINALLY be rid of his Child Support obligations, and have no reason for any further contact with heinous ex-wife.
We get a letter from the DMV on saturday saying his driver's license has been suspended becuase of a CS arrears. (WTF? He's paid up!!!) As of APRIL 7 (the date of notification was MAY 6. W.T.F.??!! Like "thanks for letting us know!")
We've spent the entire morning bashing our heads against the local county and state bureaucracy, trying to figure out whom we have to pay to get his licesne restored. Nobody knows anything, or they're not answering their phones. I didn't realize that New Jersey had subcontracted out all their bureaucracy to the Vogons.
I think our combined blood pressure could be used to pump the entire city's water supply today.
And the most ironic part of this is there will be no more CS payments in 2 weeks.
Any good wishes/prayers/vibes for a speedy and positive resolution to this entire SNAFU would be greatly appreciated. (and I could use a hug).
