One question: why do people apologize when something they read/view/consume doesn't resonate (or as you put it, speak to you)?
I've always found that really odd as a creator. I create with the best of my abilities at any given time and hope for the best. It isn't your fault, or anyone else's, if I don't hit that sweet spot. After all, we all ultimately have subtly-to-widely different frames of reference. No one owes me an apology if I miss the target with them. |
